Once in a while it's good to tune out the news and take stock of where we are.
We had our challenges when I was growing up in the 1980s, but I genuinely had no idea it would come to this.
As part of being a good American you are expected to believe a series of falsehoods, of which I could surely name dozens. "Racial disparities in income are a sign of a white supremacist society." "Rioting is the language of the unheard."
Or how about this: "Children as young as 2 recognize their trans identity."
Ten years ago not a single, solitary soul gave such a thing a moment's thought, but today they have invented special demon words for you if you don't wholeheartedly embrace it.
And you'd better be sure that HR doesn't catch you thinking the wrong thing.
In one area of life after another, we are expected to live by lies. We are expected to believe -- or at least to profess our belief in -- things we know to be false.
Keep your head down, keep your mouth shut, stay out of trouble.
That's how you and I have been living.
But it eats away at your soul to live by lies rather than the truth.
I cannot change the minds of those who would push lies on me, and demonize me if I do not accept them.
What I can do: help my readers, my community, my tribe -- however you want to put it -- escape the lies, and live fearlessly in the truth.
That is a revolutionary act in a society governed by lies.
After all:
If you want to learn American history, forget about asking the typical professor.
If you want to find out what's going on in the world, forget about asking the typical journalist.
If you want a cost-benefit discussion of the Covid shots for people in various age groups, forget about asking the typical physician.
If you want an overview of the Federal Reserve and its true effects on the economy, forget about asking the typical economist.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Clown World.
Clown World wants to demoralize you, even make you question your sanity, with its propaganda.
It wants you demonized and isolated -- from your more obedient family and friends, and even from society at large.
It wants you to grow so weary and discouraged that you just throw in the towel, because what can one person do.
Well, that isn't happening.
We've built a refuge from it all, and a base from which we'll build a world worth living in.
And we'll work together to take the best revenge there is: living prosperous and fulfilling lives, without worrying about our children's minds being colonized by alien ideologies, or a monetary system that eats away at our savings, or employers who can throw us to the curb because we don't wish to be guinea pigs for Big Pharma.
Look around my refuge for 30 days.
Your one-way ticket out of Clown World is here, but the look-around-for-30-days train leaves the station at midnight:
