Two years ago this week Alex Berenson was banned from Twitter for accurately reporting the results of the Pfizer Covid vaccine trial.
But two years on, we have an additional detail: we know the Biden White House pressured Twitter to ban him.
Again, what Berenson said was true. But he wasn't allowed to say it.
Here's exactly what he said:
The pivotal clinical trial for the Pfizer Covid vaccine shows it does nothing to reduce the overall risk of death. ZERO.
15 patients who received the vaccine died; 14 who received placebo died. The end.
The trial blind is broken now. This is all the data we will ever have.
Tomorrow on the Tom Woods Show I'll be welcoming back Dr. Pierre Kory of the Front Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance. (There won't be a YouTube version of that episode, for obvious reasons.)
We discuss the Covid shots, ivermectin (and Dr. Kory responds to Dr. Vinay Prasad), and a great deal more.
The first time I talked to Dr. Kory he noted that he'd previously been mostly apolitical but on the liberal Democrat side of things. He said Covid and the way outlets like the New York Times and other sources of Official Opinion handled it red-pilled him. Now he doesn't trust what they say on any topic -- an excellent instinct.
It's extremely easy in today's America -- or indeed in many parts of the world -- to grow discouraged, to give up, to write everything off as hopeless. We are all tempted to think like that now and then, so you're not alone.
After all, even now we can't have the kind of frank and uncensored discussions we need to have (I can't even put my discussion with Dr. Kory on the largest video platform out there), and we're suppressed by the very people who have done nothing but lie 24 hours a day for as long as you and I can remember.
But I for one refuse to give them the satisfaction, and I hope you're with me.
They want you to think you're in a tiny minority, and that everyone disagrees with you. This is a standard tactic of would-be totalitarians -- to isolate you mentally, and break you by convincing you that you're completely alone.
But you're not.
Remember what Harry Browne taught us: whatever is going on politically, you can still carve out a healthy, fulfilling, and prosperous life, if only you know how.
I've had my material (even an interview with a U.S. congressman!) suppressed, and I've been shunned and blacklisted. Yet I'm more prosperous and reaching a larger audience than ever.- Tom Woods
