the name is a combination of taking the word "Re" from "cream" and placing it between the two "o"s in "chocolate" - making "o-RE-o." CREAM is the GOLDEN milky yellow color shade of the cream produced by cattle grazing on natural pasture with plants rich in yellow carotenoid pigments, some of which are incorporated into the LIGHT, to give a yellow tone to white. Hence, the CREAM of the GOLDEN CROP. Cream is the pastel colour of yellow, By mixing yellow and white, cream can be produced.
The cookie is now black as the night sky with the sacred chrism (latin for "Creme" ) in the middle, the cream from between the O's (as in sex magick).
This is exactly why you LICK THE CREAM FILLING from between the goddess's sandwich cookie, coming from the ancient Greek OREAS, the "mountain nymphs, " a class of semi-divine female beings," from Old French nimphe (13c.), from Latin nympha "nymph, demi-goddess; bride, mistress, young woman," from Greek nymphe "bride, young wife," later "beautiful young woman," then "semi-divine being in the form of a beautiful maiden;" related to Latin nubere "to marry, wed" (see nuptial) which gives us NUBILE. How fitting that the ancient Greek OREOS translates to "BEAUTIFULL, COMELY, GOOD."

Other nymphs, always in the shape of young maidens, were part of the retinue of a god, such as Dionysus, Hermes, or Pan, or a goddess, generally the huntress Artemis. Nymphs were the frequent target of the horny satyrs. Which is exactly the practice of Beltane with the May queen and Cernunnos, the horned green man of the forest.
This is where "NYMPHOMANIA" comes from, surrounding encounters and infatuation with nature spirits and their inherent boundlessness and freedom.

So again the Oreas are the nymphos of the MOUND or MOUNT.
